Party at Bimbo’s 365 Club

Bimbo’s 365 Club, a San Francisco North Beach landmark, was the site of a night of 60’s costumes, food and cocktails.

bimbos-buffet-setting-1.jpg Hundreds of convention goers crowded into Bimbo’s, a vintage supper club built in 1931. Grace Street Catering created a fun 1960’s theme party on a Wednesday’s night in February for a well-know Bay Area Tech company.Aside from their interesting club; Bimbos also has an interesting history.

Quoted from their website:

In 1931, Bimbo and Monk Young, his partner, opened the 365 Club. San Francisco was weary of the Depression, needed some fun, and the 365 Club was there to provide it. The club was crowded with celebrities and stars from across America who were there to see and be seen.

Some of our corporate clients include Cellular One, Oracle, National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, and Yahoo!. This glamorous nightclub presents the latest popular musical acts ranging from Chris Isaak and Jewel to the Brian Setzer Orchestra and Macy Gray.

Some people come to relive the good old days of San Francisco nights, others have their good old days for the first time. What they have in common is a landmark that’s destined to stand as long as San Francisco stands for good times.
